I know my hdd always had a loose molex for 2-3 years, but the bsods have occured only very recently and as such I don't know what to reason. I was out of town for 2 weeks, but I am back now. Possibly this problem is caused by another driver on your system that cannot be identified at this time.

I checked the event viewer and it shows that at 5:24 am the event log was started, so that is when it reboot spontaneously. The other issue you are having does not sound like an issue with you BIOS settings.

Please uninstall this using the Programs and Features page in Control Panel and see if it makes a difference. My bad. Good idea I did flash the BIOS when built the system. I went ahead and disconnected the faulty molex power connector, so now I should have no issues with power as far as connectors go.
