Hard Disk Toast

this is being sent from the laptop no HD, just a very very smart program called BartPEloaded winXp SP2 + a Firefox CAB file and VOILA!!needless to say, i forgot to What did help though was booting from the installation CD and running Disk Utility there. Is my hard drive toast? Am I screwed? navigate here

This could be a boot order issue in the BIOS or your system had run out of options and found no operating system. Clicking on a WD is usually game over - head damage and the drive will not init. Your help is appreciated. What year was you hard drive made?
