I end up disabling the touchpad and using a wireless mouse with laptops when I have to use them now. I'm sure it's great if you have a touchscreen but it aitn't much use if you don't! I didn't ask how to ues it I asked how to remove it.Hi Alan, clearly there is a disconnect here.. I haven't updated any graphics drivers, it just seemed to happen randomly and hasn't gone away.

If it is Windows 8 standard I don't think that option is included. It'll open Registry Editor and go to following key:HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ImmersiveShell\2. Under ImmersiveShell key, create a new key EdgeUI. 3. Now select newly created key "EdgeUI" and in right-side pane, create a new DWORDDisableCharmsHint and set its value to 1 I am sure that in an Apple device it would be a left swipe/right swipe which feels more intuitive to me.
