If Apply is grayed-out, check a box in the Deny column. I have been struggling with this and reading up on forums all day. If mapping a network drive to the SharePoint library still does not work and the same issue appears, check the following KB articles for fixing this issue. However, it has two disadvantages: 1. If I think on it for a while I might be able to figure it out.
I typed "Hi there", clicked "Save" and selected "Word 97/2000/2003" as the format. "Access denied, you do not have the rights to do this." I have not gone anywhere near the Take Ownership Shortcut I saved it on my desktop. This is typically a permissions issue or a network problem. Hey all, I have Windows 7 (now) and have set myself as the Administrator. for WP11 users the work around is to delete all of the temp files before every "save as MSWord" operation- a real hassle. Seems asinine for the system to not allow you to save a file to a folder but then ALLOW you to copy everything and the delete everything.
