Reply Link willr March 20, 2010, 3:59 pm OK, I solved my own problem: it's not sufficient to enable file sharing for just the C drive on the xp machine. I can view my shared documents, but I can not print from my Windows 7 printer. I have a Lexmark printer connected to a Windows XP machine and I want to use the printer form Windows 7 machine. To set up the shared printer in XP, go to: Start Menu > Printers and Faxes > Add a Printer A wizard will open up.
